This past Saturday, Euro Tile & Stone attended Habitat for Humanity Greater Ottawa’s 14th annual Steel Toes and Stilettos Gala at the beautiful Shaw Centre. The evening was especially noteworthy this year as it was Habitat for Humanity Greater Ottawa’s 25th Anniversary celebration. The non-profit company builds safe and affordable housing that has served over 76 local families in the Ottawa community over the past 25 years. Their inspiring vision is “a world where everyone has a decent and affordable place to live”.
The evening was full of exciting events such as live and silent auctions, prizes, dinner and live music. The proceeds from the gala fund Habitat for Humanity Greater Ottawa’s 2020 operations which includes a new affordable housing development in Wateridge Village.
Euro Tile & Stone is a proud long-time supporter of Habitat for Humanity Greater Ottawa by donating tiles for their housing projects and ReStore and we look forward to continue supporting their efforts. Also, we’re proud to have our General Manager, Brian Boucher, on the Board of Directors as we strongly believe in Habitat for Humanity’s approach of providing a “hand up, not a hand out”.
We’re already looking forward to next years gala!
